The Rolling Rook “AIR” logo takes a twist on the “STUDIO” logo, replacing the rook on a high wheel with a stylized rook carrying a drone camera between it’s talons.

The “Rolling Rook” logo merges the elegance of a rook (akin to a raven or crow) with the whimsical charm of a high-wheel bicycle, commonly referred to as a Penny Farthing. The outcome is a captivating design that encapsulates our blend of intelligence, curiosity, diligent work ethic, and playful spirit, all while reflecting our unwavering commitment to environmental causes.

Raised by Kittens
MEGAN
Megan, affectionately known as “The Rolling Rook,” envisions a world where hard work is esteemed, animals are treated with kindness, human stress is reduced, greed is tempered, and our planet’s well-being is taken seriously. As a versatile creative professional, she wears multiple hats: illustrator, graphic designer, fine artist, photographer and drone pilot. Her accomplishments include winning several awards, being featured on Behance, and successfully selling her paintings at various galleries and jazz clubs across the United States.
When Megan isn’t immersed in her studio work, you’ll find her cruising on her bicycle, exploring local farmers’ markets, contributing, or volunteering for various community organizations. Her portfolio spans the globe, as she has crafted branding materials for diverse businesses on an international, national, and local scale. Additionally, her artistic touch graces the pages of several books and various publications.
After getting her first drone in the summer of 2024, Megan quickly fell in love with aerial photography. Determined to take her skills to the next level, she set her sights on earning her Part 107 Certification (Commercial Drone Pilot) — a goal she proudly achieved in early 2025.
Megan’s passion lies in creating meaningful visual experiences that resonate with hearts and minds alike.
THE CATS
Our silver tiger of a grey tabby, is named Ash (kinda after Bruce Campbell’s character in the Evil Dead movies), and our tortoiseshell kitty is named Ember (because…well, she looks like a burning ember). Ember spends most of her time in the studio while Ash prefers to sleep on the bed or watch chipmunks in our kitchen window. We’re so happy we could provide these sweeties a new forever studio… ahem…I mean, home.
THREE’S A CHARM
Update 2023: We found a little kitten in mid July whom appears to have been abandoned. She’s in the process of getting her shots and will soon get spayed. We’re still trying to figure out a name for her.
BUDDY
Adopted from an animal shelter, Buddy was a very sweet, older and mellow cat. Some days he spent sleeping on the back of a big comfy chair, but most days, he preferred being on Megan's lap.
On August 22, 2018 Buddy peacefully passed away at home, on Megan’s lap and was later laid to rest.
We will always be missing him and he will forever be in our hearts.
